Mold Release Agents

Our mold release agents, developed to ensure that parts made from raw materials such as TDI & MDI flexible foam, integral skin, rigid, semi-rigid, rim, SRim, LFI, honeycomb, elastomer, and phenolic felt are removed from molds without deformation, are formulated with water and solvent carriers. Their usage ratios provide our partners with competitive operational advantages. Our products do not damage the mold and do not cause mold contamination.

We can develop custom formulations to adjust the surface appearance of parts to be both glossy and matte, according to our customers' specific needs.

Polyol Colorants

In the production of colored slabstock foam, colors are used as technical identification codes for different foam types. The way the color binds to and spreads within the foam is crucial. It should not alter the performance characteristics of the foam in any way. Altuğ Kimya's color products meet these requirements. They are precisely tailored to the relevant PU systems and help ensure that processes run smoothly and efficiently. They are highly compatible with polyester or polyether polyurethane systems. They are phthalate-free.

They are suitable for automatic dosing into polyol for all PU types or for direct mixing with polyol. The color formulations are produced and customized according to standard RAL, Pantone color systems, or specifically for our customers.

Anti-UV additives can be added when required.

In-moldPaints

Our specially designed product range, applied to the mold after the PU production-compatible mold release application, provides extra physical and aesthetic protection to the product while preventing any surface imperfections and texture formation that may occur during the reaction stage of the part coming out of the mold.
In-mold paint significantly reduces paint preparation and application times, eliminates defects that occur in the mold, and gives the molded part the desired effect and properties.
These are formulated as water-based or solvent-based according to our customers' requests.
Our solvent-based products are produced in concentrated form, and our customers can dilute them with IMP THINNER 0019 depending on their needs.
Color formulations are produced and customized according to standard RAL, Pantone color systems, or specifically for our customers.
